Are you interested in helping a non-profit that is active in the community? Dade Battlefield Society was established in 1987 and, in addition to supporting Dade Battlefield Historic State Park, we also participate in community events to help other groups and causes. Do you love the Bushnell community and want to help it shine? We love Bushnell!! Dade Memorial Park was established in 1921 to preserve and commemorate the site of the battle that took place there on December 28, 1835, leading to the Second Seminole War. The name has since evolved into Dade Battlefield Historic State Park; we continue to preserve the important history of the land, but the park has also grown to be a place to learn and for the public to gather, hold picnics, weddings, reunions, and other special events. With over 52,000 people visiting the park each year, DBHSP has an impact on all who visit. We look at sponsorship as a partnership- we can help each other promote our event and your business. Do you want to introduce your company or brand to attendees coming from around the state, country, and world? The Convocation of Seminole War Historians takes place in different locations every two years. Dade Battlefield Society is honored to have been chosen to host the 2024 Convocation. Because it is a unique event that brings together scholars, history lovers, living historians, and authors, attendees travel from near and far to attend this two-and-a-half day event, stay in the area, and patronize local businesses. We even have attendees coming all the way from Europe! We have a sponsorship opportunity for everyone! Please download our Convocation Sponsorship.pdffor more information and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you! |
